Edgar,
Thanks for info.
  Our chauvinistic listniks will certainly
dislike the title , maybe the content too.
Making the book the more interesting.

Czernowitzers...

... and especially those among you, who read German: Our fellow member Friedrich Ortwein draws our attention to a new book by Noémi Kiss: Schäbiges Schmuckkästchen - Reisen in den Osten Europas: Bukowina - Czernowitz - Galizien - Gödöllö - Lemberg - Siebenbürgen - Vojvodina [Schabby Jewelry Box - Journeys to Eastern Europe: Bukovina - Czernowitz - Galicia - Gödöllö - Lemberg - Transylvania - Vojvodina]:

Noémi Kiss is a Hungarian writer, whose works have been translated into English, German, Polish, Bulgarian, Romanian and Serbian. The German press considers Kiss as one of the most promising writers of her generation. […] She received her PhD from the University of Miskolc in 2003 for a dissertation on Paul Celan, published with the title Határhelyzetek. Paul Celan költészete és magyar recepciója (Borderline cases: Paul Celan’s poetry and its Hungarian reception). Kiss regularly publishes short stories, and fictional travelogues on Eastern Europe, and essays on photography and literature. (http://kissnoemi.hu/)

I'm confident this book will become available in an English traslation quite soon.
