Yes ,so it is.
And all this due to two simple facts :
Subject is good.
Memory is bad.
2008 ? How time passes !

Czernowitzers...

On 09 December, 2008 it appears that one Hardy Breier posted the first
Hava Nagila post to this list. In each year following, whenever the
posts dwindle in number and we seem to be running out of steam, he
churns out yet another Hava Nagila post -- he does this every year for
us without fail.

And we respond each year, making the same claims, asking the same
questions, and retrieving the same answers from Wikipedia and other
revered on-line sources. It is a tradition -- an Ehpes tradition, and
who can argue with tradition?

Here's how it all started:

Here is Hava Nagila , the most popular Jewish song.
For those who don't know - the song was composed in Czernowitz.
It is performed in all the languages of the globe.
     Here is an Ukrainean version.

It's all there on the website, in the Archives.... 89+ Hava Nagila
posts over seven years and still going strong, round and round, bringing
this complex subject into ever sharper focus and refinement.
Best,
