Ruth, tell me in Yiddish what does Boyberik mean.
Bukstehude is a town in Germany and a German composer.
Nothing more .

In Yiddish, Boyberik means to GO OFF ON A TANGENT.

Did you all know the saying: Er kumt oder er furt kein „Bukstehude.?“

Was it just because of the unusual Name, or did it have to do something with
the famous composer born in a godforsaken little place in Oldeslo
Holstein?

Best regards,

Ruth
