Transnistria was not a geographic land.
It was a concept.
It had no defined boundaries.
The moment you crossed that Moghilev ferry
you were in Transnistria wherever you were.
We have survivors who would know better.
I wasn’t there and feel too humble to lecture
on this , forgive me.
Hardy

Dear Hardy, was Vinnytsia part of Transnistria? No, it was part of the
German occupation zone.
Warm wishes from Mogilev,
christian

Christian ,you write :
"Tomorrow we will continue to former Transnistria."
But you are NOW in the very heart of it.

Dear all,
Vasyl, our great driver, brought Sylvia and me to Vinnytsia in Podolia
today. On the way we have taken a look on the Jewish cemetery of Ternopil
and have visited Medzhybizh - the place where the Baal Shem Tov, the founder
of Hasidism, was buried. A magic place.

Warm wishes from Vinnytsia,
Christian
