Gary: excuse me for not explaining. In Europe , when frontiers opened, some people where afraid from people coming from poor countries, they thought they would ask for a lower price than "first world"
professionals and in France the image of the Polish plumber became a symbol and then a joke, very few of them came and nobody lost their job. The old fear from the foreigner.
