I agree with Hardy's post on Dracula, what made me doubt were the
stories told by Rumanians to my mother before sleep, they began like
this " In the night you could hear the sound of the hanging heads
banging into each other" so I thought Romania was the land of horror
stories, but maybe it was the same in other places, like Ireland.
It seems that Dracula was a cruel Count, again there were others like
him in Europe.
When I say Bukovina in France, people don't know where it is and I
have to say "close to Transilvanya". There is an exeption, Gypsies or
Rom Romanian beggars in the streets, they all know the Bukovina, and
sometimes, I can not help it, I tell them: I come from there too!!
