Except for the fact that the battles on the Eastern Front were manoever
battles,not trench warfare. And westerners keeo on about the Somme...but the
Carpathian battle was bigger and bloodier than the Somme. Cornel.

I really think it mattered what the rank of the Jewish soldier was.
I see a lot of people here wrote that their grandparents and great uncles
were army officers.
Of course they got better treatment than the privates/foot soldiers.
That happens in every army no matter what religion the soldiers are.
War was hell in 1914 for every soldier in the trenches.
