As far as using Edward's material for publishing , I think you should
contact him and ask permission. I have been re-publishing some of
Edward's Live Journal material in the 'Ehpes Postcard Collection',
giving credit to LiveJournal, Edward or both. I have not corresponded
with him for quite a few years now, but I think you can pick up his
email address from the sites he publishes to if it has changed from the
Cc line above. He has always accommodated my requests.
Speaking of Edward Tur, he generously went out one winter's day in 2007
and photographed for me the memorial commemorating the 1941 Bila Street
massacrer - see:

I think, although a few days late (July 6th - 8th), everyone should have
a look at this little album again and remember those Czernowitzers who
perished there some 74 years ago.
