I am a constant visitor of Sighisoara, to me one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Europe. Vlad III the Impaler, prince of Wallachia, inspiration for fictional vampire Count Dracula, was born here in 1431. But who needs frightening fiction when reality is sometimes much more terrible:
