Hi Christian!
You are doing a wonderful and charitable job in Czernowitz.
We all appreciate your efforts and that of the group too.
I see that a few people from our Cz group have made some personal requests to locate family.
I read your response about the 50,000 graves in that old cemetery. I am aware of the challenges.
I've done some physical research myself in an old Queens, New York Jewish cemetery which holds over 70,000 graves. Even with maps and a guide it took lots of time searching out a few family burial sites.
  So my request is.....
If you happen to see ANY gravestone with the name, MERKSAMER, Bernhard, Nettie or another first name, ket me know what it says.
I know my family was from Chernowitz and some must have been buried there in the early 1900's.
Thanks so much and good luck.
Lloyd
