There were rumors in Cz that Feldmarschal von Rundstedt ,commander of the 1-
st Ukrainean Army requested the Gestapo to pressure the Rumanians in
removing the Jews from Czernowitz as they were a strategic risk to the back
of his forces.
He should better have asked me ....
