Among the various descriptions of the living conditions of
Czernowitzer Jews in Siberia, I am curious to know what did those
deported people find there, in terms of shelters, after being dropped
from the trains by the Soviet NKVD.

Did they live in tents, in open air shelters, in forests, barracks,
houses , in existing kolchozes, etc. Can anybody among our friends,
survivors or their descendants explain ?
