I have a postcard from to my grandmother, in Yiddish. I can't read Yiddish and I am wondering if any of you can read it for me. If you can, let me know and I can send it to your email directly.

Thanks, Marsha Spellman, granddaughter of Annie Braxmejer (sp) from CZ area.

Thanks to my PC things don't get lost as letters often did. I found this most interesting attribute to Leibu Levin and would like to thank Abraham for it. Just sitting and reading about this man I feel dreadfully sorry that I have never heard him read or sing Yiddish. The drive in Israel through Ben Gurion and long before him Jabotinsky not to make it the national language as it was the Gallut (diaspora) language, which I agree with entirely, I feel that I have lost a treasure which should be found as archeologists discover treasures of the past. Of course I heard many people reading Shalom Aleichem but never by people like Leibu Levin, the way he sounds here. A troubadour singing in this lost language, what a pity and my children and grandchildren never will discover it.
Thank you Abraham again and thank you Cornel for allowing us to share in it.
Regards, anny
