In Czernowitz there are currently two active synagogues;
the one of rabbi Kofmanski and the other of rabbi Glisenshtain.
The city is mostly well maintained and the Jewish population numbers
about 1500.
There is also a Jewish school and a Jewish Kindergarten.

Smaller towns in which there before WW2 sizable Jewish communities,
to the best of my knowledge, currently have no Jews living in them.
