Thanks to the good efforts of Jerome Schatten, I have been able to
post my Czernowitz family album to the Ehpes website. This was the
GOLDENBERG family of Czernowitz - some of them may have lived in Dorna
Vatra for a period of time, also.
I wonder if anyone can help me find some of my relatives or their
descendants - there are photographs in the album which might help to
identify them.

My grandfather, Emil Raymond Goldenberg (1889-1964), had two sisters
who emigrated to Israel after WWII, at least one of them to the HAIFA
area. They were BERTA (Betty) GOLDENBERG (married name unknown) and
SALI GOLDENBERG SCHWARZ (her husband's first name was Adolf). My
parents, who are deceased, visited them and/or their descendants in
Haifa 1n 1971, but I cannot find any contact information for them.
There was also a younger member of the family, MARCUS GOLDENBERG, who
sometimes came to the U.S. from Israel on a ship (he may have been a
steward) in the 1950's.
My grandfather also had a younger brother, ISIDORE (ISRAEL)
GOLDENBERG. I don't know what happened to him and his wife, or
whether they survived the German occupation of Romania.
The maiden name of my grandfather's mother was RUDMAN (possibly also
spelled RODMAN).
I would greatly appreciate any leads that members of the list serve
might be able to help me with. For example, does anyone know of an
organization or website in Israel that helps people to find their
relatives?
