There were direct transfers from Czernowitz. There is a picture of that fir=
st transfer. The Jews marching f rom the Ghetto =2C passed the TUrken Brunn=
en and a narrative of the people on the side walk.....some spitting=2C some=
 cursing=2C some quietly gesturing good byes=2C some quiet and some calling=
 friendly to their acquaintances. So it goes that a Jewish hairdresser to =
a General's wife in czernowitz was removed from one of the railcars at her =
request to her husband. She was followed by screams of the Jews in the cars=
 asking her to save them . =20
