One day in the winter of 1945 our school got a wood supply for heating,
The wooden logs were on wagons at the Volksgarten station and
had to be unloaded,
So we marched to the station with sports teacher Stanger, singing patriotic
songs.
On the way back we were attacked by stones thrown from the Volksgarten.
It was the 5-th Ukrainean boy school .
Stanger who was member of the City council brought this up in the
next day meeting and no more stones were thrown at us.
But then we left.
