Hi Jim, this is so interesting! In the same vein, a daughter of my aunt Ta=
ube, Mela, survived a concentration camp (being a doctor and working in the=
infirmary also helped her survive). After leaving the camp she married a t=
op French communist, Yvan Craipeau, and their son Jean Loup is a well known=
French children book writer. He has an extensive write up in Wikipedia, in=
French of course.
Best, Manny
