Dear Hedwig...thank you for responding to my good wishes!...as I know you
must be being feted by many many other friends. If I had limitless energy,
time & money, I could be traveling all the time and would gladly stop by to
have a cup of tea, or even a schnaps with you. Maybe next year I'll be able
to make it to Israel. In Eastern Europe I've been working on a series of
photos that I've titled, the "Landscape of Memory," It's a sequel to
"Return" the work I began soon after the fall of the Berlin wall in1990.
