I get a nostalgic thrill when I read the postings on this List.
Even though I was never in Czernowitz, my late mother constantly
talked of her youth. She and her brother spoke only German to
eachother.
I have often wondered what her youth was like. This group gives me
good insight. Unfortunately my mother has been gone for ten years. I
know she would have loved to reminisce with other Czernowiters.
