Thank you. I found my grandfather Goldhaber on page 76 under Jeweller and
Silversmith (my translation). This is my 1st link to them. My grandparents
settled in Czernowitz after WWI. I cannot trace further back. They came
from Galitzia. I don't know which town, nor do I know the name to look for.
My grandfather's parents had only a jewish wedding. As there was no civil
registration, I think the children (including my grandfather) may have been
registered under the mother's name, which I don't know. For my grandmother,
all I have is the name Auerbach. This is a fairly common name.

Unfortunately the generations of my family that preceded me are all gone.
