Dear Czernowitzers,

The World Organization of Bukovina Jews delegation visited North Bukovina
Jewish Heritage Sites
in the area of Storozhynetz and Czernowitz on 11-15 July 2016.
In addition to filling the site surveys (I've posted them before) we took
more pictures. In the next few days I'll post them to the group.
Today you can see below the set of visits on 13 July 2016.

Banila pe Siret/Banilov/Banyliv Pidhirnyi cemetery:

Czerecz: A mass grave supposedly exists in the forest behind the lake,
across from the village church. We didn’t find it.

Davidivka/Dawideny: NO CEMETERY

We have covered in this trip 12 site surveys and visited a few more. My
previous post generated some interest/feedback,
but what WE NEED MOST IS VOLUNTEERS!!
Our list has more than 700 sites and obviously our team alone would not be
able to finish it soon....

If you are planning to visit Bukovina or Transnistria and willing to devote
~20 minutes to also capture the site information
with the mobile app (to then put it in our website) - please contact me on
my private email. All can then enjoy it.

Best regards and thanks in advance on behalf of our Project Committee,
Baruch Eylon http://www.eylonconsulting.com/bukovina/
