particular Oberkantor must have been David / Dawid Feldmann, b. 23.11.1885
Akkerman (= Bilhorod-Dnistrowskyi), who before 1935 lived Goethegasse 2,
Czernowitz. In 1935 he passed 2 months in a hospital in Vienna, afterwards
most probably returned to Czernowitz (no death notice in the Vienna city
archive, in database yad vashem he is listed as a victim).
Many thanks again - and maybe some 'Czernowitzer' has more information on
his education and career, and the names of the choir singers and the fate
of the choir director?
