I knew Else Keren-schaechter and her daughter.
Else was my mother's friend form Czernpwitz and my english and french
teacher in our city Ramat Gan in Israel. Elsa was not a poet and not a
painter. she made some artworks from Aluminum foil.
Else was my mother's cousin, born like Else in 1924, who was a young poet.
She perished in 1942 Michelowka camp in Transnistria, *SELMA MEERBAUM*.
Else has got Selma's poems and gave them to another friend, Renee
Abramvici-Michaeli, who has brought them to Israel and has published them
30 years later with the help of frends from Czernowitz.
