Just got a phone call from Tel Aviv. From this list I had found my
great-aunt Regina's married name, and then on Yad Vashem found
testimonies on her family's fate in Transnistria. I mailed a letter
to the person who filed the testimonies (more help from this list -
Eran Elijahu Ben Joseph) to figure out the address format, and they
called me today. Harold Honigsberg and his wife Chaya.
This is so exciting! Thank you all for your help. I can't believe it
happened so quickly with the CZ database resources providing the data
I was unable to locate before.
I plan to get to Tel Aviv but it's tricky for me as a single mother to
do this - though I will. I am working on finding people in Tel Aviv I
know to help me converse with Harold.
