Dear Michael,
Thank you so much for your message. You hit that nail square on the head! Checking the listing displayed at my posting
http://hauster.blogspot.de/2016/08/books-of-seven-seals-in-radauti-and.html
you'll realize that the Radauti, Vicov and Solca vital records are stored for the predominant part by the Radauti Town Hall, the other one by the Suceava County branch of the National Archives of Romania. The digitization effected by our late friend Dorin Fraenkel in 2008/2009 covered the Suceava holdings, available at
http://www.jewishgen.org/databases/Romania/BucovinaVRs.htm
while I digitized the Radauti portion. From in total 39 volumes, 30 are in Radauti, while 9 are in Suceava, what leads me to the estimate, that we've got approx. 75% in Radauti vs. 25% in Suceava. In addition we've got the priceless index records in/for Radauti; the "search engine" for genealogists!
I still haven't examined the output of my photo sessions, actually about 15,000 photos, rather than 7,500 as estimated earlier. In a next step, after my return home, I'm going to check with Bruce and other persons involved in the database maintenance/transcription the best (and fastest) options to "go public" with these data and to make them searchable. We'll come back to you as soon as possible and, me too, I can hardly wait to check the records; no way while taking tons of pictures!
Warmest wishes from Czernowitz!

Congratulations Edgar! This is very exciting.
I have some Kranzdorf family from Raduati.
The Romanian Sig on Jewish Gen has been translating vital records for Radauti. Are they using these records or different records? Might be a good idea to combine resources.
Michael
