Dear Michael,
Thank you and congratulations on your find. You are right, this is just the Radautz Marriage Index Database, but it's an edited one, extended by wifes' surnames and given names.
The date range 1857 - 1929 applies only to the births and deaths records, while the date range for the marriages covers the period 1870 - 1929; Radutz births and deaths records will follow as soon as possible.
As per digital images requests, we've stated: "To request a digital image of the original record, send an email to
bukovina.records_at_gmail.com
with the following information from the 'Details' link: Register Image, Register Volume, Register Page, Register Entry Number, Husband Surname, and Wife Surname. There is no charge; requests are filled in the order received."
Hurry up, Michael, first come, first served!

Thank you guys so much! This amazing I have 2 hits for my Kranzdorf family.
I gather this is just the index. If we want to get access to the original record, which will hopefully have more info on parents, how do we go about this?
Also the search function only lets us start at 1870. You mention that you found records going back to 1857. How can we check those missing years?
Thanks
Michael

Dear friends,
Birth, death and marriage records are the primary source for genealogy and family history researchers, providing valuable information and clues to an ancestor's or relative's life.
Every society enlarges itself through marriages. When you are tracing your family history, this information can offer one of the most common missing links – a maiden name. All marriage records include the full names of the bride and groom as well as the marriage date and other additional information, such as the names and birthplaces of each individual's parents. As part ONE of an ongoing project - birth & death records will come soon - The Radautz Marriages Database is a rich new web resource for Jewish heritage in Bukovina:

The Radautz Marriages Database contains over 3,000 properly indexed marriage records for the period 1857 - 1929. Our thanks go to Martina Lelgemann, who took care of the transcription, and to Bruce Reisch, who developed The Radautz Marriages search engine and website. Lucas Reisch provided php search engine expertise.
Whether you are looking for an ancestor or trying to find a lost classmate, marriage records can provide a link to vital information and point you toward important clues. The free search provided by The Radautz Marriages Database can jumpstart your research project. Please check it out and let us have your comments…!"
