I am searching for the parents of

Leisor/Lazar Rosenkranz Koppelmann and Chaim/Henrik Rosenkranz Koppelmann.

Leisor/Lazar Rosenkranz is according to JewishGen born in
1875. He was master tinker in Maramarossziget and may have been owner of some hardware stores. He could be the Leiser (Rosenkranz) Koppelmann , who in 1914 is mentioned to be living in Rosengasse 166 in Radautz. On 14.4.1910 in Maramarossziget he marries Regina Rifka Wieder/Vider. ”Bride and groom reside at Mester u. 30 in Maramarossziget. Groom’s legal residence is Wilawze, Bukowina; known as surname Koppelmann”. His mother’s name is Gittel (Rosenkranz) and is deceased. Name of father is not mentioned. Before World War II Leisor/Lazar Rosenkranz and Regina Rifka moved to Nagyszalonta and both perished in 1944 in Auschwitz.

Chaim/Henrik Rosenkranz is born 24.12.1878. He was assistant tinker in Maramarossziget. He could be the Chaim (Rosenkranz) Koppelmann, who in 1908 is mentioned to be living in Wollo-wetzergasse 10 in Radautz. On 27.12. 1908 in Maramarossziget he marries Malvin/Malke Wieder/Vider, the half sister of Regina Rifka. ”Groom resides in Mester u. 30, bride at Aztalos Sandor u. 56 in Maramarossziget.; Groom’s legal adress is Storozynetz, Bukowina; known as surname Koppelmann”. His mother’s name is Gisella/Gittel (Rosenkranz) and is deceased. Name of father is not mentioned.

I assume that the name of their father is …. Koppelmann, who was living in Bucovina, and he dies between 1878-1908. Their mother may be the Gitel Rosenkranz, who according to Directory for Czernowitz and its suburbs 1898 is living in Klokuczka and who dies the same year.

Lazar and Regina Rifka are the great-grand parents of my daughters on their mother’s side.

Best regards
Jorgen Ugilt
