Hi,
I am searching for information about my grandmother, born Rose Granich in
Czernowitz circa 1884 and who emigrated to the US at age 8 years old. I
have no information about any other family in Czernowitz but am hoping that
someone might be familiar with the surname Granich. I have not been able to
find the name or anything similar on any of the lists through the
Czernowitz.ehpes.com website. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[Warren - try "GRONICH". There are many with this surname in the Cz. Jewish Cemetery, searchable on JewishGen. You should also find numerous listings in the Czernowitz Birth-Marriage-Death Index database. <
