After WWI Bilin belonged to Czechoslovakia. After Hitler's Deal of 29 September 1938 (Münchner Abkommen) Bilin became part of the "Deutsches Reich", Oktober 1938 German soldiers occupied Bilin that then belonged to "Sudentenland" in 1939. Czeck inhabitants were expelled. After the end of WWII former Czechoslovakia was restituted, most of the German inhabitants were expelled in 1945/1946

Just aquired a 1903 postcard from Czernowitz to Bilin...and I have no idea
