Thank you very much Edgar for this information. I've read Dr. Ancel's work
but only by traveling to "Yad Vashem" in Jerusalem. I think his work wasn't
appreciated enough.

Subject: [Cz-L] Book of the Month, February 2017: Documents Concerning the
Fate of Romanian Jewry During the Holocaust
Czernowitzers...
Dr. Jean Ancel (1940-2008) was a Senior Archivist and Historian at Yad
Vashem for over 36 years and has published extensively. He is best known for
his work "Documents Concerning the Fate of Romanian Jewry During the
Holocaust" , 12 vols., a collection amassed over the course of 10 years and
from archives across Europe and Israel:
http://czernowitzbook.blogspot.de/2017/02/documents-concerning-fate-of-roman
ian.html
Volume V is entirely consecrated to the fate of the Jews of Besarabia and
Bukovina, while Volume XI is to serve mainly those researchers, who do not
know Romanian, German and French. Summaries of all the documents ARE GIVEN
HERE IN ENGLISH, some of them extensive and detailed. By combining the
document collection from Vol. V with the document summaries from Vol. XI we
have created a new interactive reserach tool:

By just one single click on the link attributed to each summary, the
document itself is now available and downloadable for you. Check it out!
