Stage two of my motorcycle ride to Romania takes me to Kitzbuehel in Tyrol. Tyrolean lifstyle, tranquility and wealth, as far as the eye can reach; even dummies are golden and down spouts copper.

But googling "Kitzbuehel + Jews" leads to another side of this coin. Kitzbuehel became famous for a brand new form of Anti-Semitism, the so-called "Sommerfrischen-Antisemitismus" [Summer Escape Anti-Semitism], as early as 1897. The same phenomenon is known in Germany as "Baeder-Antisemitismus" [Spa Anti-Semitism] and in the United States as "Resort Anti-Semitism". You live and learn!
