In the begining there was no particular selection, mostly people were
woken up and told to pack some belonging
wait to be told what will happen next. The next thing as morning
approached we saw that horses & carts were in the street
waiting for loads. Some trains were fully loaded and the rest were
told to go to the Jewish quarter and wait to be accomodated till next
move.
There was panic ,nobody knew what is happening only that we are to
relocated ,nobody knew where.
We stayed there for a few days my brother took ill with meningitis and
was taken to hospital, after a few days we were told we could return
home, that was in the Stefanigasse. The home was looted.
