Dear Eric,

Thank you so much for your hint, but this time I'm not going to make it to Bukovina; it's just a preliminary "short" motorcycle ride to Romania. In any case I'm going to bookmark the Crizantema Inn. On the other hand please let us all learn more about your Moldovita project. Where and how will the outcome of your work become available, since it's an important contribution?

Warmest wishes, meanwhile from Vienna!

Edgar, if you make it to Vatra Moldavitei, I highly recommend Pension Crizantema. Just stayed there last week while cataloging the graves on the Jewish cemetery in neighboring Moldovita.

Czernowitzers...

All day long heavy rains en route to and over the medieval city of Sighisoara, the seventh stage of my journey. Bad luck for motorcycle riders and even for walkers. Have you ever heard the term "silk gypsies" or in Romanian "tigani de matase"? Have a look around on the farmers market of Balauseri:

You are completely right to complain about no connection whatsoever to Bukovina, but things will change in my next posting from...?! So, please stay "tuned"!
