What a sorrowful loss to his family and to us - the entire Cz blog family!
To Ofer and the entire family - my condolences from the depth of my heart.
May you find consolation in the deep enlightening and inspiring impressions
he has left in the many minds and hearts of surviving Czernowitzers (we have
reached the period of the 10 little niggers - I apologise sincerely for the
use of this term but it is the original - and are leaving one after the
other) and their offspring here, in Israel, and there, all over the world!
He was an enthusiast-ing phenomenon in our bleak nostalgia for the world
that was eighty years ago.
