As a matter of fact, your grand father didn't pay for the release, which unfortunately wasn't an option at that time, but for improving the living conditions of his relatives. By the way, wherefrom did you get this listing?

Does anyone know the meaning of the this record I have got regarding my
family?
It might imply that my grand grand father paid for the release of his
daugher (my father's aunt) and her husband from Transnistria.
I am not sure of the exact meaning...
