Czernowitzers, dear List members,
Not too many of us came intactly out of a dispute with Hardy, and as a co-moderator of the List I know what I'm talking about, but that's exactly what we are going to badly miss in future: Hardy's inimtable keen wit, his sense of humor beyond political correctness, his ability to get to the heart of Czernowitz matters, in a nutshell, his outstanding personality shaped by the experience of the Holocaust.
Such a sad loss for all of us. He will be missed very much. My condolences to his family.
