Late, although much too late for almost all Iasi Holocaust massacre survivors, that's fine. Please read additionally Lazar Leibovici's testimony "That Sunday - Iasi Pogrom of June 29, 1941":

But there is also another side of the coin, as communicated by prominent historians such as Radu Ioanid or Mariana Hausleitner. A strange mix of fans of the fascist Iron Guard, former Securitate officers, Ceausescu nostalgists, right-leaning media and Russian neo-fascists such as f. i. Alexander Dugin are now claiming the German responsability for the massacres. By shifting the responsability to the Germans, they are trying to deny the Romanian impetus for the homemade Romanian Holocaust.
Thank you, dear Mariana, for drawing our attention to this new facet of distortion of history, which applies similarly to the events in Czernowitz and Bukovina!
