These are as many as twenty-six out of 149 artworks, which demonstrate the enormous influence on the Romanian art exerted by Jewish artists. Although not Jewish artists, paintings by Octav Bancila and Arthur Verona made it to our Czernowitz Art Gallery, due to the themes, which arose from the close cohabitation with Jews. It should not go unmentioned, that I'm putting myself up to auction the painting "The Emigrants" by Octav Bancila (No. 11, p. 26):
