The Hoffer names you post Yohanan are not familiar unfortunately. My grandmother Libe had a sister Reisel (Rose) but that is as close as I get. Jacob Joseph Buller’s wife was Rose.
I have inconsistencies in birth years so I don’t know what is correct. I do know my grandmother Libe new Hoffer was born about 1905. (My grandma was the baby of 5 and her oldest siblings were a good 15-19 years older). I have her mother Pearl nee Buller born about 1864 with her brother Marcus born in 1883. And according to a census record, Jacob was born in 1875 which is clearly impossible. It might be a different Jacob Joseph Buller with a wife named Rose from Vichnitz who came to the US in the 1800’s.
Other family names were Richter, Rennert and Schnitzer. I know a bit about the Schnitzer’s but not the other families. Schnitzers were most likely on the Buller side of the family.
Asher, when was Ya’akov born? Same name. Vicinitz was not a huge city. It is quite possible that all Buller’s are one family who are from there. Same for Hoffer.

I have Hoffer from Viznitz in my family tree: Yehudit NAGEL, my Great-
Great- aunt, married an HOFFER about 1860-1870. Her daughter Risa HOFFER
married Isek HARNICK.
