Czernowitzers...
For all those, who, like myself, could not attend the Mandyczewski Festival in Czernowitz on September 1-2, 2017, and thanks to Dietmar Friesenegger, we've got some moody musical impressions, which I uploaded to our Ehpes Blog:
http://ehpes.com/blog1/?p=10274
Granted, the video sequences are a bid blurred, but the audio track is by YouTube's standards quite good and the music is impressive and that's what finally matters. Enjoy and thank you, dear Dietmar!

Subject: [Cz-L] Mandyczewski Festival
Dear Czernowitzers,
I would like to inform you about a music festival that will take place in Czernowitz in early September:
http://hauster.de/data/Festival.pdf
As I mentioned in an earlier entry here, I came across several unpublished musical manuscripts by the composer Eusebius Mandyczewski while doing research in Czernowitz’s libraries and archives. In the last few months, I have edited several of these scores, and the Chernivtsi Symphony Orchestra (head conductor: Yosyp Sozankiy) and Chamber Choir (Nadia Selezniova) will now perform them.
Should any members of the listserv be in Czernowitz in late August or early September, I’d be delighted to meet up with you – and I hope to see you at our festival.
Yours,
Dietmar Friesenegger
