Hi Kurt,
Shana Tova to you and all! I believe you refer to my posting on the "Repatriates at the USSR/Romanian Border - March/April 1946"
http://radauti.blogspot.de/2009/12/repatriates-at-ussrromanian-border.html
covering data for 10,673 repatriates, mainly Jews from Northern Bukovina, who crossed the USSR/Romanian border at Siret in March/April 1946, i. e. those Jews who survived Transnistria and the Holocaust.

Mordechai Altshuler's article above on "The Soviet 'Transfer' of Jews from Chernovtsy Province to Romania, 1945-1946", published by "Jews in Eastern Europe (Jerusalem)", 2 [36] (1998) 54-75, provides the historical context for the repatriations, which took place in spring 1946.

Greetings from Australia .
Wishing all the group members Shana Tova may it bring your health all you
wish for .
Earlier this year you published a list of the Jewish people that left CZ
when the Russians opened the border for a very short time in 1945.
I did find my family detail in the list but I have lost the information.
Could you please republish the list or give me a link to it .
Thanking you in anticipation ,
Kurt (German) Shmatnik .
