Hi everyone, and Happy Chanukah!
In reading an article by Anny Mater, I noticed she mentioned this agency
several times, calling it the "Jewish Rumor Agency" or "Jieden willen Azoi"

This interests me, and in searching ehpes I saw a few emails referencing it:
HARDY BREIER (2014) calls it "Jewish Gossip Agency. The most unreliable
news agency in the world."
Hardy Breir (2011) referenced it as "War was in the air. IPA was positive
on this (that is the Jewish Plotke Agentur).
I'm wondering where I can find more information on this agency - if I
understand correctly, they had different chapters? Were they only in
Czernowitz, or in many communities? And why is the acronym "IPA" if the
name was Yiddishe Plotke Agentur?
Did it morph into a different agency after the war? Did this or these
groups have interaction with the World Jewish Congress?
To find more information, should I search for terms like "Jewish
underground news agencies holocaust"? Are there more keywords that might
help me?
