Dear all,
I am doing a research on psychoanalysis in Czernowitz and I am interested in two people.
Leo Schachter. He worked as a psychoanalyst and internist in 1928 in Czernowitz. He also gave lectures and courses on psychoanalysis and individual psychology in the 30s and was a member of the Massada association, which was founded in 1932 in Czernowitz. Do you know if he might be the same person as Leiser/Leizer Schachter, an internist who was deported to Transnistria? I suppose he emigrated afterwards to Israel.
The second person is Salomea Ungar-Wohl (1903-1932). She was a sister of the poet Kubi Wohl. She probably studied medicine in Italy and was active in the field of psychoanalysis and psychiatry.
I am especially interested in their psychoanalytical activity, but any information could be helpful. Thank you very much!
