Dear friends,

It took us - almost to the day - three years to complete „The Radautz Vital Records Database 1857-1929“ but now it's done! Birth records form the centerpiece of any vital records database. They usually show the name of the child, gender, date and place of birth as well as additional parental details including their places of birth, ages, etc. As part THREE of our now completed project, The Radautz Birth Records Database contains over 12,000 properly indexed birth records for the period 1857-1929:

    • Births (12,000+ records): https://bit.ly/2Z0jbfP (NEW)
    • Marriages (3,000+ records): https://bit.ly/33tRAai
    • Deaths (7,500+ records): https://bit.ly/2KpmHfx

Copies of family birth records are freely available upon request. To request a digital image of the original record, please click on the "Request Record" link in the results page, which generates an email request to us for the record of interest.

These vital records are a cornerstone of family history research because they were typically created at or near the time of the event, making the record more likely to be accurate. We wish you success in your research! „We“ stands for Martina Hauster, who took care of the transcription, Bruce Reisch, who developed the search engines and websites, assisted by Lucas Reisch, who provided database development expertise, and me, Edgar Hauster, who photographed thousands of pages of records at the archives and will process your digital image requests.

Please check it out and let us have your comments…!
