Dear Rony,

Thank you for your message and your kind words. Yes, the Solca BMD (including Arbore) records to be released as soon as possible will cover the years between 1896-1929 (!). As a very preliminary listing from the Birth Records, please find some Eisent(h)al children from the years 1899-1906 at

https://a292395.oberon.1blu.de/data/public/5b2201.php

the years 1907-1929 still being "under construction". As for "Hasidic Houses", there is a small note in Ostjüdische Zeitung, 26-Nov-1923 edition, p. 4, 1st column

https://www.difmoe.eu/d/uuid/uuid:1d75ca42-3206-4a91-beca-abb6345ec1e7

mentioning that the Eisental Prayer House from Bojan (not Sadagora) made a donation in favor of KKL - Jewish National Fund. From Czernowitzer Tagblatt, 25-Feb-1913 edition, p. 11, 1st column,

we learn that Simche Eisenthal became as treasurer board member of the newly established Jewish National Society from Arbora, and as per Czernowitzer Tagblatt, 24-Nov-1915 edition, p. 3, 3rd column,

https://bit.ly/339keNk

he subscribed a war bond in 1915. Hope, these data will be helpful to you and I wish you success in your research!

Warmest wishes!

Edgar Hauster

Subject: [Cz-L] ARBORE / MOGILEV / SADAGORA HASIDIM

A big THANK YOU to all the BBOB (Bucovina Band of Brothers - Galizianem included :) who have replied and offered help. As I become more familiar with the many sources online, hats-off to the EHPES team (I have barely started to browse and for the first time thru stories, pictures and more, I am starting to understand and feel my parent's yearn for a "Once Upon in Czernovitz" - write your town - I am a late bloomer as my status as a son and father shifted to caretaker of my 94 Czernovitzer and "emptynester"). Now to "tachles":
1)The BMD records indexed by Bruce & Edgar's team is priceless. While I look forward to ARBORE vital records in the Solca archives (per Yossi Yagur), I noticed that it covers from 1896 - 1916. (1929 included?). Were these records retrieved from Suceava archives? Would records before 1896 be found in Gura-Humora (per Benjamin Grilj)?
2) Other than "Drucker's list", are there any other resources or registry of burials in Moghilev of Bucovina citizens deported?
3) As per my father z'l, the EISENTHALs followed the Rebbe of Sasagora. Does anyone in the list know if Hasidic Houses kept membership (apologies - IDK what word to use) records

PD. Tks Bruce for plain text tip
BTW. How do I upload ARBORE cemetery tombstone images to http://czernowitz.ehpes.com/czernowitz11/cemsplash.html?
Add my name to List Member's Pages and more...
BTW (another ;) some of the online links to other sources do not work (ex: Eli Schachar's ttp://humora.tripod.com/)
