Dear friends from Czernowitz,
I am French and write to you from Paris where I live, please excuse my=20
mistakes in English. As I told you already, I am still working on the=20
(long and sad) story of my family.
My grandpa=E2=80=99s father, Mo=C3=AFshe Gl=C3=BCckmann was a rabbi from Su=
ceava in the=20
second half of 19th century. He had 3 children :
Iossel, my grandpa stayed in Suceava and died in Transnistria. He had=20
four sons among which my father.
Julius, a pharmacist, lived in Radauti with his wife, Roza, born in=20
Czernowitz. They had no children and both died in Transnistria.
Mala, a girl, lived in Czernowitz, married an electrician called Israel=20
Kronenfeld and had a son, Moishe and a daughter Rica. Only Rica survived=20
and testified on Yad Vashem. I suppose she went to Israel and married=20
there a guy called Reisman.
I have two questions :
Does anybody know anything about those Kronenfeld ?
Do anybody have relationships in Israel who could talk to me about the=20
old times in Suceava (including communist period) ? I have planned a=20
trip there from 12th to 19th of November.
