Dear friends,
I am happy to announce that we are ready to launch the Czernowitz Jewish
Cemetery Restoration Organization (CJCRO) website.
Please visit us at www.cjcro.org.
Our team has worked for many months to create this tool for informing all
interested people and institutions about the history of our organization
and our current activities as well as our future plans.
The website has been designed to make it easier for donors to make
contributions to help our progress.
Besides sending funds by check contributors can now use a credit card or
their PayPal accounts.
Please let us receive your comments about the contents and your
suggestions about improvements.
The current global Covid-19 pandemic has also hit Czernowitz pretty hard.
We could not start yet the vegetation control and clean-up activities for
the 2020 season as the city is still in lock-down now.
But we hope that within the next few weeks things will get better and
slowly return to normal and at that point we will start the work
immediately.
I will keep you informed about the situation as we receive more news from
our team members in Czernowitz.
