Dear Edgar,
Images from Czernowitz/Sadigura and Novoselitsa are included in an amateur =

Many thanks for the passion and erudition that you are using to entertain t=
he Jewish history and culture of Czernowitz.

Czernowitzers...
It was our fellow member Natan Elkin from Benicasim, near Valencia in Spain=
, an almost silent follower of our List, who drew my attention to an obitua=
ry published by "Le Monde" for Jacques Mehler, who died recently in Paris:
http://ehpes.com/blog1/?p=3D10890
Jacques Mehler was born on August 17, 1936 into a family of intellectuals a=
nd industrialists from Czernowitz. He went to Oxford University, the Univer=
sity College of London, as well as to the Harvard University and devoted mo=
st of his career to language processing and language acquisition.
What a personality and an interesting carreer of another scientist with Buk=
ovinian roots! By the way, reading his Blog on WordPress
https://natanelkin.wordpress.com
I think that applies to our - almost silent - fellow member Natan Elkin too=
. In any case, dear Natan, thank you for keeping us all updated. Warmest wi=
shes to Spain!
