Hi Mandy,

Very interesting! Would definitely want to find out if we are related.

My Ecksteins were from Rarancze - now Ridkivtsi, which is about a
1/2-hour drive from Chernivtsi.

I found some of your Ecksteins on the JewishGen Burial Registry. I
assume you've seen these given that you actually visited the cemetery,
but posting here in case you have not:
Moses - https://www.jewishgen.org/databases/cemetery/jowbr.php?rec=J_BUCOVINA_0032160
(shows his father as Eliezer)
Honora - https://www.jewishgen.org/databases/cemetery/jowbr.php?rec=J_BUCOVINA_0036248
Paula - https://www.jewishgen.org/databases/cemetery/jowbr.php?rec=J_BUCOVINA_0036323
(shows her father as Chaim - either Moses' Hebrew name was Chaim or
this is a different Paula)

I am intrigued that this Paula's Hebrew name was Pesi, which is
similar to my 3x great-grandmother Bassie. Do you know when your Paula
was born, where she lived, and whom she married?

All best,
Jonah
